For iPhone and Apple Watch

Your gym notebook, on your wrist.

Easy Gym Log is a workout log for people who already know how to train. Write your program once, then log every set on Apple Watch in one tap — with the weights you lifted last time already filled in.

In testing now · iPhone + Apple Watch

Plan once. Lift. Tap.

  1. Write your program on iPhone

Days, exercises and sets the way your coach — or you — wrote them. Any names, any number of days.

  2. Open it on Apple Watch

Pick today's day, then any exercise in any order. Last time's weight and reps are already there.

  3. Tap ✓ after each set

Did 12 instead of 10? Two taps on +. The next set opens by itself, and the workout saves to your log.

Everything a paper log does — faster

Your own programs

"My 3-day split", "Upper / Lower" — as many programs and days as you like. Days aren't tied to the calendar: you choose what to do today.

Your own exercises

Call them anything — "Leg press — Hammer" or "Machine by the window". Kilograms or pounds, your weight step, body-weight moves with extra load.

Last time, filled in

Every set starts from what you actually lifted last time, in any gym and any program. The plan is used only the very first time.

Several gyms

Home gym, hotel gym, a friend's place. Mark which machines each one has and swap an exercise for one workout — your program stays as it is.

Warm-up or working set

Keep warm-up sets in the log without mixing them into your progress. Planned and actual values are stored apart: planned 10, did 12.

Offline, always in sync

No account and no internet needed. Start on the phone, finish on the watch — every set syncs once, never twice.

Built for the watch first

The phone stays in your bag. On Apple Watch you see today's exercises with a ring for each, big numbers for weight and reps, and one green button.

  • Change weight with − / + or the Digital Crown, in your exercise's step
  • Swipe between sets to fix one you already did
  • “One more set” copies the last one
  • Start and finish a whole workout without the iPhone

A notebook, not a fitness app

Big numbers, clear check marks, no photos of athletes and no busy charts.

Questions

Do I need my iPhone at the gym?

No. Programs, exercises and your last results are stored on the watch, so you can start a workout, change weights and reps, add sets and finish on Apple Watch alone. Everything syncs when the iPhone is near again.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Easy Gym Log has no account and no server: your log lives on your iPhone, and the watch talks to it directly.

Will it tell me what to lift?

No. There are no recommendations, generated workouts or rest timers. Each workout starts from what you actually did last time, and you change anything you like.

Can I use pounds?

Yes. Kilograms or pounds and the weight step are set per exercise, so a 2.5 kg barbell and a machine with 5 lb plates can live side by side.

Can I send my log to my coach?

With Easy Gym Log Pro you can export one workout, a period or the history of one exercise as a PDF, then print it, save it to Files or send it.

Does it save workouts to Apple Health?

No. Easy Gym Log is a notebook for sets and weights; it does not read or write Apple Health data.

When can I download it?

Easy Gym Log for iPhone and Apple Watch is in testing now and is coming to the App Store soon.
